At Tiny Tails Retreat, our goal is to provide safe, reliable, and stress-free care for every pet. The guidelines below help ensure smooth service, clear communication, and the best possible experience for you and your pet.
🐾 Pet Transport Services:
First-Time Transport Visits
For the safety of your pet and our team:

Clients are asked to meet outside with pets secured on a leash or in a carrier

Indoor pickup for initial transport visits musts be pre-approved
-
This helps prevent escapes, reduces stress, and ensures a smooth handoff

Meet and greets are not required but is available upon request.
Established Clients

Outdoor handoff is still preferred

Indoor pickup or drop-off may be arranged when:

Access instructions are provided

The pet is comfortable with our team

Approval has been given in advance

Transport Safety
-
All pets must be properly secured before entering the vehicle

We use seat belts or crates based on pet size and safety needs

Pets are never transported loose or left unattended
🐾 Full-Service Veterinary Visits
Our full-service vet visits are designed to support both pets and owners.

Time & Wait Policy

Includes up to 90 minutes total service time

Additional wait time may be billed if appointments run longer

Delays are communicated whenever possible
Important Notes

Veterinary exam fees and treatments are paid directly to the clinic by pet owner

Treatment approvals remain the responsibility of the pet owner

We will contact you if questions or concerns arise during the visit
🐾 Care Visits
First Care Visit
For first-time care visits, we require:

Clear access instructions (door code, key location, etc.)

Feeding, medication, and routine details
-
Emergency contact and veterinary information
A meet-and-greet is not required but available by request.
During Care Visits

We follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible

We do not introduce new foods, treats, or activities unless approved

Any concerns or changes in behavior are documented and shared
Service Area & Pricing

We proudly serve Summerville, Goose Creek, and Moncks Corner

Pricing includes up to 10 miles for transport and vet visits
-
Additional mileage, wait time, or additional pet fees may apply

Final pricing is confirmed prior to approval
Scheduling & Communication

All transport and vet visits require approval before confirmation
-
To reserve your appointment time, prepayment is required 4 hours prior to the scheduled service. Payment will be processed using the card on file unless alternative arrangements are made in advance.

Cancellations made at least 4 hours prior to the scheduled appointment will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within 4 hours of the appointment time, or missed appointments, may be subject to a service charge. -
We appreciate as much notice as possible if your plans change, as this allows us to adjust routes and accommodate other clients.
